We visited Walt Disney World in Florida on June 5-12, 1999! This was our first Disney vacation, not to mention our first family vacation EVER and, needless to say, we had a blast!! But, boy, was it exhausting!! In the 7 days that we were there, we went to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom (twice!), MGM, Universal, and Epcot (for a brief 2 hours). Whew!! Here it is July and I am still recuperating!! LOL!After it was all said and done, I asked the kids what their favorite part of our vacation was and you'll never guess what they both said...SWIMMING!!! (sigh) They had swimming lessons the week before we left and they really enjoyed practicing what they'd learned in the private pool behind our rented house! Ok, so next time, we'll save our $$ go to a beach somewhere and relax for a week! All kidding aside, I know that this vacation is one that they (and we) will never forget.
